The upcoming 2023 event aims to bring together clusters from the EU and Taiwan to explore opportunities for collaboration and partnerships in areas such as ICT, Semiconductors, Digital industries, Robotics, AI, Advanced Manufacturing, Circular Economy, Renewable energy, Sustainability, Smart city, Connectivity and 6G. The event will feature keynote speakers, networking sessions, and matchmaking opportunities for participants to connect and explore potential business collaborations.

Looking back at past missions to Taiwan

In 2018 and 2019, the EU and Taiwan organized Cluster Matchmaking events to enhance collaboration and partnerships between clusters from both regions. The events aimed to bring together key players to share knowledge and build strong relationships.

The 2018 EU-Taiwan Cluster Matchmaking event focused on smart city development, digital innovation, and clean energy, with the participation of 45 European clusters and 70 Taiwanese counterparts. The program included keynote speeches, networking sessions, and B2B matchmaking opportunities, where participants could explore potential collaborations and partnerships. The 2019 event had a broader scope, focusing on emerging industries such as biotechnology, healthcare, and circular economy. The event gathered the participation of 22 European clusters, as well as 12 Taiwanese clusters. The program included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and thematic workshops on digital healthcare and smart manufacturing topics.
