Technologies of the Future: AI, Quantum and Beyond

Novinka

European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, hosted the EU Clusters Talk: “Technologies of the Future: AI, Quantum and Beyond” on 3 December, from 08:30 to 9:45 CET.

Europe’s competitiveness in the coming decade will depend on its ability to lead in the development and deployment of technologies of the future — including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, advanced materials, and next-generation digital infrastructures. The European policy agenda in this field seeks to foster industrial innovation, strengthen Europe’s technological sover-eignty, and ensure that the twin green and digital transitions are underpinned by world-class research and industrial capacity. Recent initiatives such as the Apply AI Strategy, the Quantum Europe Strategy, and the Digital Decade Policy Programme are shaping a European framework for these technologies.

To discuss these developments, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, hosted the EU Clusters Talk: “Technologies of the Future: AI, Quantum and Beyond” on 3 December, from 08:30 to 9:45 CET. This session explored how these strategic technologies are transforming European industry, outlined the latest policy directions from the European Commission, and invited participants to discuss how clusters can drive uptake and collaboration in these high-impact domains.
