EDIH Northern and Eastern Bohemia 2.0 (05/2026 – 04/2029)

The project is funded by the European Union under the DIGITAL EUROPE PROGRAMME and by the Czech National Recovery Plan.
€ 2,483,681.45 EUR

For the 2021–2027 period, the European Commission launched the Digital Europe Programme, based on a network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs). EDIHs are connected to advanced digital expertise in their regions (research centres, universities, etc.) and across Europe (partner hubs). They provide a public service by transferring digital know-how to SMEs and public administration organisations.

EDIH Northern and Eastern Bohemia 2.0

EDIH NEB provides services to SMEs (up to 499 employees) and public organisations primarily from the Liberec and Hradec Králové regions. In one place, organisations can access consulting, testing and implementation of digital technologies, digitalisation-related services and training, as well as support with funding and grant management.

We offer expert support and consulting in digitalisation and grant management from members of the EDIH NEB consortium:
Technical University of Liberec, VÚTS, University of Hradec Králové, Aricoma, National Cluster Association, Regional Development Agency, and the Centre for Investment, Development and Innovation.

SERVICES PROVIDED WITHIN THE PROJECT
TEST BEFORE INVEST

Digital technologies can increase your competitiveness across your entire company or organisation. They help streamline processes and improve products and services. We provide comprehensive support throughout all phases of digitalisation — from the initial idea to measurable results. We identify opportunities, design solutions, and through the “Test before Invest” approach, you can first test them under highly favourable conditions.

The EDIH NEB consortium offers a broad portfolio of digital technologies under the Test before Invest scheme. In addition, clients gain access to many other advanced technologies from EDIHs across the Czech Republic and Europe.

For Czech companies with up to 499 employees and public administration organisations seeking to address current challenges through digital technologies, regardless of their level of digital maturity.

DIGITAL ACADEMY

We recognise the importance of education — both in a broad context and specifically in the field of modern digital technologies. We organise educational events focused on digital skills, from basic to advanced levels.

Our current main focus areas are:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data

For these topics, we cooperate with proven expert companies and lecturers. Choose from a range of courses, training sessions, and workshops offered by the Regional Development Agency.

For all stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem, startups, companies with up to 499 employees, public administration organisations, and academic or commercial research institutions.

INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT

We support the development of the innovation ecosystem at regional, national, and European levels. We act as an active intermediary connecting companies and public organisations seeking new technological solutions with businesses that already have advanced technologies ready for practical deployment.

For companies with up to 499 employees and public organisations aiming to solve current challenges through digital technologies, regardless of their level of digital maturity.

GRANT MANAGEMENT

We provide support in identifying and preparing grant applications for the digitalisation of companies and organisations using regional, national, and European funding sources.
