SME & Clusters Assembly 2026 to Bring Together Europe's SME and Cluster Communities in Dublin
From 2–4 November 2026, Dublin will host the SME & Clusters Assembly 2026, a major European event held under the motto "Connecting for a Competitive Europe." For the first time, two of Europe's flagship events - the SME Assembly and the European Cluster Conference - will come together in a single joint format.
This new platform will bring together policymakers, entrepreneurs, cluster managers, investors, and innovators to discuss the key challenges and opportunities shaping Europe's competitiveness.

Key Topics for European Businesses
Following an opening day dedicated to visits to local businesses, the main two-day programme at the Convention Centre Dublin will focus on some of the most pressing issues facing European enterprises today, including:
- strengthening the competitiveness of European companies and supporting their expansion into new international markets,
- the practical use of artificial intelligence in small and medium-sized enterprises without dedicated technology resources,
- building resilient value chains, including in the areas of defence and security, in response to the evolving geopolitical landscape.
The programme will also feature dedicated networking and matchmaking activities, providing opportunities for SMEs, clusters, and other organisations to establish new partnerships across sectors and European countries.
The event will also celebrate Europe's most outstanding entrepreneurs and businesses. The finalists of the Youth Start-Up Challenge will be officially recognised during the Assembly.
On the evening of 3 November, participants will be invited to Dublin Castle for the Schumpeter "Innovation in Enterprise" Lecture and the European SME Week Reception.
Registration
Due to limited capacity for in-person attendance, all registrations will be reviewed by the organisers. Applicants will be informed of the outcome approximately 2–3 weeks after submitting their registration. As a general rule, one representative per organisation will be accepted. Those who are not selected for on-site participation will still be able to follow the main sessions online.
