Smart Support: AI Tools for Effective Cluster Management, EU Clusters Talk, 21 May

The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) invites you to the next EU Clusters Talk, which will focus on artificial intelligence tools and will take place on 21 May 2025 from 08:30 to 10:30.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming how we work, make decisions, and deliver value. For cluster managers and staff, AI tools offer new opportunities to streamline operations, enhance strategic planning, improve stakeholder engagement, and support innovation ecosystems more effectively. Yet, many organisations are still in the early stages of understanding how to integrate these technologies into their daily activities. As the role of clusters evolves in a more data-driven and digital environment, equipping cluster teams with practical knowledge of AI tools becomes essential for staying relevant, efficient, and impactful.
To explore how cluster organisations can leverage AI to support their work, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, organises the EU Clusters Talk "Smart Support: AI Tools for Effective Cluster Management" on 21 May, 8:30 – 10:30 CET. The session will examine potential use cases and practical AI tools for clusters, give an overview of EU regulation and responsible AI usage, and discuss practical tips on an effective use of AI in day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
Speakers will include:
- Esther Díez Pérez, Head of Sector – Data, AI, and Innovation Policy, DG DIGIT, European Commission
- Antonio Novo, President, European Clusters Alliance and General Manager, Cluster IDiA
- Andra Tanase, Strategic Development, Membership and Partnership Manager, Transilvania IT Cluster
- Ola Svedin, CEO, OpenTech
This event is part of regular online meetings brought to the cluster community by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. They offer up-to-date insights into the latest industrial policies and clusters’ involvement, projects, and best practices, the latest ECCP news, and funding opportunities. The EU Clusters Talks are a space to exchange knowledge and to discuss cluster-relevant topics, which will change with every meeting.
